The VA-99M circuit breaker is designed as a monoblock consisting of a base and a cover with a fascia panel that includes a window for the control handle and a test button pusher to check the breaker trip mechanism. The base is made of heat-resistant plastic that does not support combustion and acts as the structural support for connection terminals, fixed and moving contacts with an arc extinguishing system, operating mechanism, and overcurrent protection block. The cover encloses all moving parts of the operating mechanism and internal conductive parts.
